The Women Behind Capri Bookkeeping Solutions

Today marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, granting women the right to vote. Women’s Equality Day, as it has come to be known, is a day to celebrate and honor the obstacles and achievements women have made in the fight for gender equality.

“I am especially proud of the amazing women who work here at Capri Bookkeeping Solutions! This talented group of women are not just savvy finance professionals; they are dedicated mothers, caring friends, community advocates, committed leaders, and everyday influencers in business and beyond. These women are at the core of Capri Bookkeeping Solutions and have my continued support. I advocate for creating a supportive, gender-inclusive environment in the present and future.” – Founder and CEO, Ethan Capri

In honor of Women’s Equality Day, we sat down with a few of the Women of Capri to get their perspective on this important day:

Q. What woman inspires you and why?
Andrea: “Erin Andrews and Sam Ponder inspire me. Both are sports broadcasters that broke through a predominately male industry and are succeeding in their endeavors.”
Natalie: “My biggest inspiration will forever be my mom who is no longer with us. My mom built up a family and established herself, even though she came here from Russia and did not know the language. She worked hard and moved up the ladder. Her strength and drive has always motivated me and I always aspire to be like her.”

Q. What is one piece of advice you would give to women or girls in the workplace?
Andrea: “
Be willing to work hard at your job, have a positive attitude, work well with others and support your co-workers.”
Natalie: “Women should always uplift other women! A lot of the time I see women put each other down or be competitive. In the workplace, we should always offer a kind word of encouragement to each other. We are all ROCKSTARS. A simple compliment or kind act can always go such a long way!”

Q. What aspects surrounding equality have you seen shift in the workplace, specifically since you started your career?
Andrea: “
There are many more women succeeding in management and leadership roles today. It’s wonderful to see how far we’ve come!”
Natalie: “Seeing more woman in charge. More woman are owning companies and hold CEO positions. I think woman are showing true drive and power– it’s amazing!”
