Q. What should we know about Goldstein & Mignogna Family Law Attorneys?
A. Amy and I opened our own practice to allow us to give more personalized attention to each client. We feel that it is important for our clients to make decisions that will affect the rest of their lives and provide them with the education, guidance, and advice to allow them to make those difficult decisions. We always focus on settlement if possible but are prepared to be aggressive litigators if need be.

Q. Why is family law and reproductive rights important to you?
A. These areas of law are very important to us because they are areas of law that have a direct impact on individuals and their families. We enjoy working with people directly and helping them through challenging times. In both areas, it is extremely rewarding for us to see our clients’ transformation while working through a challenging divorce or becoming parents for the first time.

Q. What types of clients do you serve?
A. Our clients vary from stay-at-home parent(s) to business owners. We serve clients throughout New Jersey and focus our practices on clients in Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer, Monmouth, Ocean, Atlantic, and Cumberland counties.

Q. How have you adapted your business during Covid-19?
Our practice opened on April 1, 2020, so it was a challenging time as a new business owner in the middle of a pandemic. I am happy to say that despite those challenges, we stayed connected and available to our clients. We are fully accessible to our clients, other attorneys and the court via our cell phones, office phones, or via video conferences. We have conducted meetings via video conferences and continue to represent our clients in Court also via video conferencing. We have stayed up-to-date on any and all announcements and changes in Court rules as the Courts continues to operate completely virtual.

Q. What’s your biggest challenge as a small business owner?
A. For me, the biggest challenge is finding the right balance. I now have three full-time jobs- lawyer, business owner and mother (to 2-year-old Violet). I am finding the new challenges rewarding and motivating. I very much believe in showing Violet that women do not have to choose between a family and a career.

Q. Why did you decide to seek bookkeeping services for your practice?
A. Amy and I figured out very early on in our new business venture that to be successful, we will have to rely on people who can do things for us better then we can and it has made a huge difference. It was very hard the first several months before we had bookkeeping services to stay on top of the company’s finances while practicing law and managing our clients. Bookkeeping was one of the first things that we outsourced and it made a tremendous difference for us!

Q. Tell us about your experience working with Capri so far?
A. We wanted easy and reliable and Capri has continued to fit those requirements for us (and more). Our bookkeepers are in constant communication with us, have made us feel very comfortable and have taught us so much in a very short amount of time. We feel fortunate to have Capri helping us with our bookkeeping and payroll needs.
